Day 3

WHAT AM I HERE FOR?

What is your purpose in life, To just get the most out of your days until you die, or is there something more to hope for? Is there an answer to the question, “what is the meaning of life?”

MADE WITH LOVE

In the Biblical account of creation, God made the earth, everything in it, and formed man in His own image.1 Then God declares His creation (YOU!), “good.”2 In a world where every man is for himself, God cares about you. He has seen the best in you and the worst. He loves you so much He chose to sacrifice His only son Jesus in hopes that YOU would seek Him.

IS THERE A PLAN FOR YOU?

Through the entire Bible we see a lovingly-crafted plan for mankind, for YOU. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”3  And later, “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”4 God is ready and willing to work in your life if you will allow Him that control.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?

We all have skills and talents we are expected to use.5 But have you ever felt like something is missing? Only 53% of Americans are very satisfied with their lives.6  Perhaps seeking your purpose through a different route – through a life with God – is the answer you’ve been looking for. God promises “whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” 7

QUESTIONS TO PONDER:

  • Have you ever felt like your life lacked meaning?
  • Do you desire to be part of something bigger that has lasting impact?
  • Are you willing to give God’s plan a chance in your life?
